CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR TRAINING ON DATA MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS USING STATA

1. Background

Understanding how to utilize STATA effectively can significantly enhance the quality and impact of research projects. To address this need, The Result Consult Co. Ltd, in line with its mission to promote research and mobilize resources for better change, is offering a comprehensive training program on Data Management and Analysis using STATA. This training is designed to provide participants with the essential skills needed to manage, analyze, and interpret data using STATA, ensuring they can derive meaningful insights from their data and contribute to evidence based decision making.

2. Objectives of the training

General Objective

The primary objective of this training is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively manage and analyze data using STATA. By the end of the training, participants will be able to confidently utilize STATA for various data management tasks and statistical analyses, enhancing their ability to conduct robust research and data driven decision making.

Specific Objectives

• To introduce participants to the fundamental concepts of data management and analysis using STATA;

• Handling Missing Data in STATA

Chapter 4: Basic Statistical Analysis in STATA

• Conducting t-tests, Chi-Square Tests, and ANOVA
• Correlation and Regression Analysis
•  Interpreting Statistical Outputs

Chapter 5: Advanced Data Analysis Techniques

• Panel Data Analysis

5. Participants

6. Date and Venue

This training is scheduled to take place from 18^th to 29^th November, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, from Monday up to Friday. The training will be hosted at the office of the firm which is located in Kigali – Nyarugenge at KN 1 Ave 55 (Near Sainte Famille Hotel).

7. Participation fee and payment processes

The participation fee is 100,000 Frw. 8. Facilitator

The training will be led by an experienced data analyst and researcher with extensive expertise in using STATA for data management and analysis. The trainer has a strong background in teaching statistical methods and has worked on numerous research projects that required complex data analysis using STATA. With a deep understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of data analysis, the trainer is well-equipped to guide participants through the intricacies of STATA, ensuring that they gain the skills necessary to apply the software effectively in their work. 9. Post-training support

We offer an option of post-training support for a period from 1 month to 3 months to ensure that, we stick to the main and specific objectives of the training. Apart from this, we offer on-the-job coaching to ensure that skills are applied effectively and productively.
