1. Reference is made to the above mentioned tender that was published in The new Times of 24 March 2023 and the REG website; We wish to inform the general public and all potential bidders that the date for submission of bids has been extended from 18 April2023 to 4th May 2023 as a result of the requests for clarification and the responses provided.

2. The tender comprises of eight (8) Lots mentioned below and the participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies specialized in the similar domain. Bidders are allowed to bid for all the lots, evaluation shall be done on lot-by-lot basis. The said lots are as follows:

LOT4: SUPPLY OF LV PROTECTION &LV CURRENT TRANSFORMERS (Bid security of one million four hundred thousand (1,400,000 Rwf) or (1,282 USD.

LOTS: MV PROTECTION (HRC FUSE, FUSE LINKS, SECTIONRIZER, SURGE ARRESTORS. (Bid security of Three million Rwandan Francs (3,000,000Frw) or (2,747USD

LOT6: SUPPLY OF LV DISTRIBUTION BOX (EMPTY) (Bid security of One million three hundred thousand Rwandan Francs (1,300,000 Rwf) or (1,190USD.

LOT7: SUPPLY OF AUTORECLOSER & COMBI UNIT (Bid security of Three million Rwandan francs (3,000,000 Rwf) or (2,747 USD).

LOTS: SUPPLY OF ELECTRICAL SPARE PARTS FOR JABANA 1 TPP (Bid security of One million six hundred thousand Rwandan francs (1,600,000 Rwf) or (1,465USD.

3. Tender Documents may be obtained on any working day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at EUCL Headquarter, KN82 ST Nyarugenge District, 1 Floor, Room N° G114, the Secretariat Office of the Procurement Management of EUCL, E-mail: procurement-eucl@eucl.reg.rw  vmutabazi@eucl.reg.rw  onizeyimana@eucl.reg.rw  upon presentation of a proof payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifteen thousand Rwandan Francs (15,000 Frw) deposited to Account N° 25044962001 opened at I & M Bank, Rwanda, or Fifteen United states dollars (15 USD) deposited on account N° 00040-00691030-35 (USD) opened at Bank of Kigali (BK) with Code IBAN: RW 40000400069103035003.

4. Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in Three copies one of which is the original must reach the Secretariat of the Procurement Management at the address mentioned below not later than 04/05/2023 at 10:00 am. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened. The bids should be well sealed and addressed to the following address:

5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who chooses to attend at EUCL main board room on 04/05/2023 at 10:30am.

6. Bids well typed, appropriately bound and presented in Three copies (one original and two copies) must be accompanied by a bid guarantee lot by lot as mentioned above; issued by a recognized Financial Institution recognized by the National Bank of Rwanda for EACH LOT. The Outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender number and title.

7. The bids will remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline of bids submission.
