1. Background
Women for Women-Rwanda is a national organization that was created in July 2020. The organization has transitioned form WfW-Rwanda an international NGO that has started operating since 1993 with the mission of supporting the most marginalized women in countries affected by poverty and war. Hence, WfW-Rwanda is currently operating as a fully dependent national organization. Currently, WfW-Rwanda supports to organize self-managed women savings groups and loan associations through the provision of advanced leadership, management training and legal support. Considering the importance of the digital technology , women for women has so far digitized more than 400 women VSLA with 10,000 members in Muhanga, Gasabo, Kicukiro, Bugesera, Rwamagana and Kayonza districts by providing training on DreamSave application and supporting VSLA groups with smart phones that have considerably helped them improve their financial management systems and security of the financial data of group members.

2. Objective of the consultancy
The consultancy intends to record success stories from 70 digitized women VSLA operating in 6 sectors of Mukarange, Nyamirama, Kabarondo, Rwinkwavu, Rukara, and Ruramira in Kayonza district. The consultancy will also capture the impact made by trained women digital champions in sustaining the VSLA digitization project in Kayonza district. In particular, the consultancy will assess how the digitalized groups impact socio economic livelihood of VSLA members and the roles of women digital champions in sustaining the digitalizing saving groups in the community in alignment of the project’s goals.

3. Specific tasks and deliverables for the consultant
Under the direct supervision of the Economic Empowerment Department Head, the Consultant will be required to deliver the following:
• Documentary film of success stories from VSLA members on how the digitalizing the women saving groups impact the socio-economic livelihoods of VSLA members and
the Importance of Women Digital Champions in sustaining the VSLA in the community.
• Documentary film will capture impact stories from both VSLA members, digital champions, grass roots leaders as well as women for women staff including the Executive Director of WfW-Rwanda
• Due to the fact that the documentary film will be done in Kinyarwanda local language, the consultant will include English sub-tittles to allow the users to catch what is said in both languages
• The consultant will present a conception report that covers how, he/she intends to make the documentary film, timeline as well as the length of the documentary film preferably not beyond 10 minutes

4. Duration and Timeline:
The consultancy will last a total of 45 days working days starting from the signing of the contract
5. Key qualifications:
The consultant should be having.
• - At least 5 years of experience in developing documentary films for projects
• Having experience of working with Non-Governmental Organisations in producing community work-related documentation or having executed similar work
• Having some good understanding of women’s Social and Economic empowerment programming
• Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda language

6. Submission Procedure
