BACKGROUND

The International Gorilla Conservation Program (IGCP) is a coalition of three international conservation organizations (Conservation International, Fauna & Flora and WWF) which was formed with the mission to ensure long-term conservation of the mountain gorillas and their Afromontane high-altitude forest habitat. The programme operates in the three countries that share the habitat of the mountain gorillas i.e. Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya, and works in close partnership with the Protected Area Authorities of the three countries Rwanda Development Board (RDB) in Rwanda; Institute Congolais pour la Conservation de la Nature (ICCN) in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) in Uganda. 

IGCP received a 3 years One Health (OH)-based Prevention, Preparedness and Response (PPR) project in the Greater Virunga Landscape (GVL) to be implemented in Rwanda, Uganda and DRC in addition to other multi-funded projects. Therefore, to be able to accommodate the new staff in Musanze Office, IGCP wants to install the modern kitchen and procure office furniture for Musanze Office.

In this regard, IGCP hereby invites sealed bids from eligible national, competent and reputable bidders who have Electronic Billing Machine, to submit their offers for this tender No 002/12/FY26. This call for proposals (CFP) is open on equal terms to all qualified companies fulfilling the requirement and registered in Rwanda.

BELOW ARE SPECIFICATIONS OF THE TENDER ITEMS: 

Lot No.1

• Office Kitchen Maintenance and 3 big open bookshelves in IGCP offices located in Musanze district, Muhoza sector, Ruhengeri cells in Sevenths Adventist’s church Northern HQs building. 

Lot No.2: 

• Supply of Office Furniture ( 4 ways workstation, Circular Qty2, Mesh office chairs high back Qty6, Executive Office Desk 160*80*75cm with side return Qty1, Executive office chair High back Qty1, Boardroom Executive meeting Table of 320*150*75cm Qty1, Executive chairs low back for meeting table Qty 8 and Door shutter metallic filing cabinet Qty1) for the International Gorilla Conservation Programme - Musanze Office , located at 1st Floor, Seventh Day Adventist North Conference Building, Muhoza, Musanze, Rwanda.

REQUIREMENTS:

The bids should be accompanied by the following documents:

1. Certificate of Incorporation or Certificate of Registration.
2. Valid Trading license
3. 2024 Tax Clearance Certificate
4. Names of owners /Authorized Company Representative
5. Sole proprietor businesses MUST attach a copy of the national ID and TIN of the proprietor.
6. Three (3) Similar Work Completion Certificates /References.

HOW TO BID / TO APPLY

All bids documents must be consolidated into a single PDF file with a maximum file size of 10 and submitted electronically via the email procurement@igcp.organd copy ronek@igcp.orgno later than  January 9, 2026, at 11:59 pm – Kigali Time. 

Late bids will be rejected If a company bids on more than one lot, her/his bids should be submitted separately. 

IGCP reserves the right to reject any bid deemed inappropriate.
