ActionAid International Uganda (AAIU) is a Ugandan national development organization, affiliated with ActionAid International- a global federation of independent members and national programs working in 47 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas for a just and sustainable world. We have worked in Uganda since 1982. About the Citizens’ Action Against Corruption Activity: The high levels of corruption, permeating all sectors of Ugandan society is driven by growing impunity, citizen apathy and permissive social norms that promote, facilitate, and even justify corruption.
