Purpose of the Position
Solace Ministries is seeking to hire a Trainer who is responsible for the training of Early Childhood Development caregivers as well as the facilitation of networking between Caregivers and parents in Rusororo Sector for ECD centers.
In fact, Solace Ministries is currently working in the District of Gasabo through Rusororo Sector to support trainers and parents in the promotion of quality education of children. The position of Early Childhood Education Trainer is a crucial part of the implementation of this. The role involves walking alongside educators, leaders, and parents to equip and support them in the delivery of quality education at an early age, working as part of a team. Almost eighty percent of the trainer’s time will be spent on active fieldwork in Rusororo Sector. The remainder of the time will be spent on focused learning (with peers and management) and fulfilling various administrative responsibilities such as planning and reporting.

Purpose of the Position
Solace Ministries is seeking to hire a Master Trainer who is responsible for the training of Early Childhood Development trainers as well field visits on the training sites.
Main Activities

Tasks, Responsibilities, and Outcomes
• Designing of new ECD training modules.
• Implement all ECD modules through training and mentoring, meetings, workshops and other program activities to trainers and other people involved in the program.
• Lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars for trainers according to the predesigned training curriculum for all ECD Caregivers.
• Contribute to the overall quality of the project by continuously monitoring the progress of the project’s outcomes and the quality and relevance of the curriculum, making adjustment as necessary.
• Contribute to M&E efforts in coordination with the project coordinator, support staff and field officers.
o M&E efforts include but are not limited to the measuring of childhood deaths, stunting, undernutrition, low birth rate, premature birth, neonatal encephalopathy, and sepsis to make evidence-based decisions in the implementation of development interventions.
• Continuously inform project participants about services provided within the auspices of the project, to ensure that participants are aware of all benefits available to them.
• Contribute to the evaluation of the curriculum at the end of the project for the purpose of enhancing the training materials for future use.
• Responsible for participants’ coordination, enrollment, and documentation (Attendance sheets, registration sheets, etc…).
• Participate in all assigned training including training in other Rwandan sectors, and neighboring countries.
• Ensure the ZOA Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy are adhered to in all activities.
• Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager, to be specified as needed.
