Lead Software Engineer

An experienced software engineer
Someone who:
• is an adept Agile coach and has experience successfully applying Agile in a fully-remote environment
• has a deep and broad understanding of the full stack from web (React) to server (Express) to infrastructure (Terraform) and beyond, is able to confidently deliver code (we use TypeScript) and coach engineers on these topics
• is a confident practitioner and advocate of the DevOps mindset

Research Director - Nature-based Solutions (Interviews starting Q3)
The Research Director will work closely with the Senior Leadership, Scientific Advisors and lead the Research team to develop and grow our capacity for financing and developing the most impactful nature-based solutions projects in the voluntary carbon market. This is a very exciting opportunity to further define how we can add value to emerging markets in nature-based solutions going beyond carbon, that help restore biodiversity and support communities most impacted by climate change.

What we're looking for

Your work will be critical to the success of Earthly and will involve:
• Leveraging existing relationships and building strategic partnerships with project developers, standard setters, and other actors in the voluntary market to grow our project pipeline and channel opportunities.
• Applying your technical background and collaborating with our Scientific Board to identify emerging trends and challenges in the field of nature-based solutions, informing the development of our projects portfolio and value-add offerings (such as our project assessment framework and data analytics).
• Building strategies and efficient processes to deliver on current and future demand for high-quality nature-based solution projects.
• Managing and expanding our research team, using your experience to compassionately lead and develop the individuals in their craft and careers Our ideal candidate will likely have
• Extensive experience, including both academic & commercial research with a focus on nature-based solutions, sustainability and/or voluntary carbon markets
• Deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the project development cycle, ideally including the origination of nature protection, restoration or sustainable use projects
• Extensive network and experience sourcing projects and managing partnerships globally or in particular regions of the world
• Curiosity to solve problems within existing and emerging voluntary markets and enthusiasm to deliver a real-world impact.
• Strong communication skills (writing, presenting, leading)
• Ambition to help grow an early-stage start-up to become a leader in helping both reverse climate breakdown & restore our planet.

Enterprise Lead Account Executive
Who we are:
We are a team of entrepreneurs, engineers and scientists, all brought together with a shared passion for both reversing climate breakdown & restoring our planet. We have access to some of the world’s leading NbS scientists through our independent scientific board of 8 experts who support our decision-making & provide oversight and advice on project selection and verification.

Your work will be critical to the success of Earthly and will include:
• Establish, manage and grow relationships with existing and new buyers so as to drive delivery of Earthly sales strategy for growth across our platforms and services
• Build up a portfolio of high-quality buyers; originate and close deals/partnerships with buyers.
• Develop a programmatic approach to develop and expand buyer partnerships with client communication and marketing activities to onboard new buyers onto the Earthly platform.
• Assist to qualify and bringing clients through our funnel utilising our CRM (Hubspot) and maximising automation.
• Understanding of the main business drivers of current and potential buyers, clearly define client needs to continuously improve our product.
• Facilitate a positive, customer-obsessed experience throughout all team and customer collaborations.
• Work alongside a dynamic team of commercial and product managers to attract new customers and drive revenue growth. Relevant candidates will likely have:
• Education - Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent preferable
• Required Experience - Higher degree or working experience in SAAS based technology sales.
• Preferred -Good understanding of climate issues and passionate about making a lasting difference.
• Preferred – Good grasp of market dynamics in the carbon market.

• Helping to maintain our dynamic, tight-knit, transparent team culture by ensuring a successful onboarding process for new joiners and helping organise social and other events Relevant candidates will likely have:
• Education - Secondary school education on their way to completing a Bachelor's or equivalent, or have recently graduated from a Bachelor's program
• Preferred -Good understanding of climate issues and passionate about making a lasting difference.
