What will I be doing?
The Country Manager Technology Field Services KSA will provide leadership and support to the area development and construction teams ensuring that the implementation of technology aligns with Hilton’s technical vision, meets the business needs of the hotels and streamlines operations. By communicating, implementing and supporting technology solutions, you will help to bring Hilton managed properties into being.

You will also be leading the technology function of the opened hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia giving guidance, direction and assistance to the hotel-based IT Managers


More Specifically, You Will
• Identify and engage with all new Hilton managed properties at the development stage
• Manage and deploy all field related tasks assigned for new projects at assigned hotels, including the deployment of third-party projects
• Engage with investors and third-party representative to ensure Hotel and Corporate IT Standards are documented, presented and adhered to during all phases of a build
• Oversee proper controls to ensure that hotels are set up to comply with SOX, PCI-DSS security requirements.
• Oversee and evaluate systems to ensure hotels purchase and install and comply with corporate and brand standards.
• Oversee and ensure corporate change control procedures are complied with and maintained during build phases
• Implement and mandate IT Field Service departmental processes and procedures to ensure strategies and directives of the department are set out in accordance with department and company objectives
• Manage/leverage relationships with third-party vendors such as utilities, ensuring quality & cost of service
• Own and manage IT-related projects (process, budget, scope, delivery, etc)
• Maintain project records and provide detailed handover to Field IT and Global Support for all new hotels
• Create and administrator internal web site; to ensure updates and progress reports are available to all and maintain documentation for each build property
• Prioritize and delegate work to matrix team members while ensuring optimal allocation of resources
• Serve as a technical resource to the property GMs and executive team
• Manage/escalate complex IT issues
• Oversee and provide direction for technology applications, communications (voice and data) and computing services
• Provide Guidance, Training and Support to IT Managers and technology team members
• Act as escalation point for hotels IT team members and help in resolving their IT challenges
• Setting up and managing KSA country IT budgets for hotels and corporate office
• Attract and develop local Saudi Talents to join the Hilton Technology team and support the in-country growth plan
• Communicate regularly with both team members and senior management
• Review & approve all local IT purchase orders and/or invoices ensuring operations within established budgetary parameters

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
• Previous professional experience in Technology or related field
• Specialized experience in hospitality support (preferably)
• Management Experience supervising people or teams
• Experience analyzing budgetary and technical data (i.e.financial, statistical and/or performance)
• Fluent in both English and Arabic
• Ability to travel approximately 25% across KSA.

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus significant Technology related experience
• Previous experience in opening/converting hotels
• Substantial experience combination in hospitality, operations and IT support roles
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall & VPN applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems; applicable Microsoft network admin certifications: MCSA or MCSE
