Call For Innovation Applications "Unlocking Youth Development Potential through Innovations"
The East African Science and Technology Commission (EASTECO) is organizing the first 'EAC Regional Youth Innovation Forum' with 'Presidential Innovation Awards" that will offer a platform, stimulate and support young innovators in generating innovative solutions to social needs and market demand.
In this regard, EASTECO is accepting Innovation Applications from which the best youth innovators will be selected in each EAC Partner State for presidential awards of 10,000USD and to undergo mentorship, pitching and entrepreneurship skills. The East African Youth Innovators will be selected competitively from the 8 priority themes/categories: 1) Agriculture, ii) Health, ii) Education, iv) Climate Change and Environment, v) ICT mobile applications, vi) Energy and Infrastructure, vil Industrialization and Trade, vill) Aeronautics and Space Technology
