Terms of Reference: Interbank Sports Tournament
A. Background Rwanda Bankers' Association (RBA) was formed in 2009. Its principal mandate is to promote acceptable banking standards and practices in Rwanda and assist its members in the conduct of sound and progressive operations in their businesses. Among other activities is the sports event, a non-competitive activity that enhances networking while exercising for good health, as well as promoting cooperation between staff of the various member banks.

B. Job Description:
Event organizer and Manager: The interbank sports tournament is an annual event that gathers Rwanda Professional Bankers including the Central Bank (BNR). Furthermore, RBA will need an event organizer to support this event and its specific roles and responsibilities shall be identified below for the aim of organizing a memorable event for the Banking Community. The disciplines that will compose the tournament are football, basketball, volleyball, and swimming starting mid-August to September 2022.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate with efficiency and integrity different suppliers of services as agreed jointly by the
committee at RBA in charge of sports. This implies to make sure that all requirements and
logistics are in place in a timely manner.
2. Jointly with the committee, manage properly the event budget. 3. Report to the committee on a regular basis on different developments.
4. Manage the timetable of actions to be taken and provide technical advice on what to be
done.
5. Arrange for site visit with the committee for demonstrations if necessary.
6. Draw a program of the event for committee approval, including a reception and awarding of
trophies for the final day.
7. Set up an independent committee for dispute resolution
8. Set match fixtures and rules of the games.
9. Participate in sports committee meetings.
10. Any other task related to this event as advised by the committee.
