Job Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning and implementation of the market risk policies, market risk management framework, and ensure its compliance;
• Participate in definition and preparation of supporting documents for the different executive committees;
• Identify emerging risks and control issues;
• Assist in the market risk quantification under the ICAAP process;
• Assist in the implementation of the market risk activities under the risk management framework;
• Participate in the market risk capital requirements calculation process under current regulatory frameworks;
• Monitor, control and report on the Bank’s market risk and ensure these are reported accurately;
• Ensure detailed understanding of all P&L and risk drivers;
• Develop and implement processes for the quality control of market data;
• Suggest, develop and implement measures leading to a better risk management framework and improvement of internal controls;
• Respond to ad hoc requests from the business, risk management or regulators;
• Develop methods and formats for risk identification, assessment and measurement;
• Develop quantitative and qualitative or measurement methodologies;
• Report on risk impact, direction for the Bank highlighting specific areas of analysis;
• Assist in the planning and implementation of the credit risk management framework, and ensure its compliance;
• At all times, maintain the loan portfolio rating in line with the bank’s Board approved risk appetite;
• Monitor, control, and report deviation from set limits;
• Monitor, control, and report on concentration risk in with the Bank’s risk appetite;
• Perform market and credit risk stress testing and offer recommendations to the Bank;
• Research and Review on the market and credit risk space developments to ensure proactive management;

Job Qualifications
• Experience of at least 3 years in similar functions
• A Bachelor‘s degree in a relevant field
• Strong knowledge of Banks Market and Credit Risk policies
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Good Knowledge of Basel requirements, BNR regulations and guidelines, Risk Management Guidelines and Risk- based-Supervision (RBS)
• Good writing, presentation, and communication Skills
• Proficiency in excel to maintain, improve and develop reporting tools
• Good understanding of Market Risk concepts and metrics (VaR, EVE/NII, scenario analysis, risk sensitivities, etc.), and governance frameworks
• Good understanding of Capital Market activities and main instruments
• Ability to manipulate, analyze, summarize and present data/results
• Detail-oriented, self-starter and communicates easily and openly.
• Strong work ethic and commitment
• Able to demonstrate a personal commitment to taking ownership and following up
